Significant Weather Advisory Wednesday 6/5 until 7:45 PM

Update: This advisory has been cancelled for the Attractions area.

The National Weather Service has issued a significant weather advisory covering southwestern Orange County (including Disney property) and Northwestern Osceola County.

At 700 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near the Four Corners region to Poinciana and Lake Kissimmee. Movement was northeast at 10 mph. Brief wind gusts of 40 to 45 mph will be possible with these storms.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
