Our Stupid Winter: Record-Tying 88 Degree High in February

I’m frankly running out of ways to be clever about the fact that it’s hotter than it should be in Winter, even in Florida. So let’s just dive in. Back in January we had a record-breaking 86 degree high. Now, today, we matched a previous record high of 88 degrees. In February. Because that’s normal.

The last time we were this hot on this date in Orlando, you weren’t even alive yet. OK, maybe if you are 81 years old then you were indeed alive, but you were a baby and don’t remember it. Ask your mom. At any rate, as you think back on today’s weather… just think that the last time it felt like this on this date in Florida, folks up in New York were busy frantically trying to finish building their Trylon and Perisphere.
