Marginal Risk of Severe Storms Wednesday 02/26/20

SPC Marginal Risk

The Storm Prediction Center is advising of a relatively low risk of severe weather in the Attractions area on Wednesday. A combination of humid conditions and approaching storms could mix together to make conditions right for isolated areas of severe wind gusts of 58MPH or higher. Because of this, the SPC has assigned our area a Marginal Risk (risk level 1 of 5) of severe weather today. The primary threat (admittedly only around 5% or so) is damaging winds; neither hail nor tornadoes are expected based on the current thinking.
