...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SEMINOLE...NORTHEASTERN LAKE...
ORANGE AND CENTRAL VOLUSIA COUNTIES UNTIL 530 PM EDT...

At 442 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking several strong
thunderstorms from north central Volusia County to Orange County,
moving east at 15 mph. Additional collision of boundaries will
generate new storms in the next hour or so from Deland towards
Orlando.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Orlando, Deltona, Daytona Beach, Sanford and Apopka.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
