The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Southwestern Orange County in east central Florida...
  Northwestern Osceola County in east central Florida...

* Until 445 PM EDT.

* At 135 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to showers
  and thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly in the advisory area. An additional 1 to 3 inches may fall
  within the advisory area through mid afternoon.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Orlando, Kissimmee, Wedgefield, Bay Lake, Orlando International
  Airport, Buena Ventura Lakes, Conway, Oak Ridge, Azalea Park,
  Avalon Park, Intercession City, Celebration, Bithlo, Four Corners,
  Belle Isle, Pine Castle, Yeehaw Junction, Lake Nona, Austin
  Tindall Park and Hunters Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
