The 11AM Advisory from the National Hurricane Center brings no major changes to our thinking on Dorian’s impact on the Attractions area.
UPDATE 11:30AM: A Tropical Storm Warning is now in effect for Orange County, home to Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld. County-by-county details are available here.
In the meantime, any outdoor preparations should be done within the next few hours as outer band squalls become more likely in the Attractions area as the day goes on. Our “main event” is likely to start early Tuesday and may last through midday Wednesday. Unless there are major changes to the track, the Attractions area should fare relatively well. But the NHC continues to note that any variations to the track could change the impact throughout the state. We’re not out of the woods until we’re out of the woods.
Next cone is due at 5PM. Keep calm and carry on!
