The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Southwestern Orange County in east central Florida...

* Until 915 PM EDT.

* At 744 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  persistent thunderstorms near Windermere. Minor flooding is
  ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between
  1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen in the past hour and an
  additional 1 to 2 inches is possible before these storms weaken.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Orlando, Ocoee, Winter Garden, Windermere, Bay Lake, Pine Hills,
  Bay Hill, Doctor Phillips, Horizon West, Orlovista, Lake Buena
  Vista, Lake Butler, and Gotha.


A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses
as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
