The Attractions area is back in the pressure cooker this weekend, with Heat Index values nearing 110 degrees right in the heart of the theme parks.
Pinpoint forecasts from the National Digital Forecast Database estimate that the 2PM feels-like temperatures will be:
- SeaWorld: 109
- Universal: 107
- Disney: 106-107
- Legoland: 105
- Busch Gardens: 105
- Kennedy Space Center: 106
- Port Canaveral:105
As a result, the National Weather Service offices in Tampa Bay and Melbourne have both issued Heat Advisories for the area. The advisory for the heart of the Attractions area kicks in at 11AM, with the Tampa area advisory starting one hour later. They both last until 5PM.
