The Attractions area tornado watch that was supposed to expire at noon has been extended for two more hours. Lake County is no longer in the tornado watch, but the National Weather Service wants to keep an eye on conditions in the Central Attractions area just a bit longer. The convection loosely associated with what was Tropical Storm Nestor spawned apparent tornadoes overnight that caused damage between Orlando and Tampa, particularly in the area known as Kathleen.
