Wednesday’s high temperature at Orlando International Airport came just before noon, topping out at 94 degrees. By mid-afternoon, a string of strong but not-quite-severe thunderstorms rolled through, with a cold front in tow and temperatures dropping.
By Thursday afternoon, the warmest we are expecting is 72 degrees, some 22 degrees colder than Thursday’s high. Truthfully, it’s probably going to be a relatively lousy weather day, with a 60% chance of rain and temperatures hovering in the upper 60s to low 70s all day. Not bad weather for staying at home.
The temperature relief will, as is always the case in Florida, be brief. Temps are expected to be back near 90 by Sunday.
