The local National Weather Service forecast office has shared a comprehensive update outlining the expected impacts of Hurricane Isaias on the central Attractions area. Notably, most winds in the Orange County area (home to Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld) are expected to remain below tropical storm force. The peak wind forecast is 25-35 MPH, with gusts to 45 MPH. Rainfall up to 3 inches is also possible as you go eastward in the county… but likely less along the western side. Unless there are major changes to the forecast, we’re probably in for rainy and windy day or two… but certainly no Hurricane Irma. Of course, you’ll want to keep an eye on the weather throughout in case of any changes. Keep calm and carry on!

- The wind threat has remained nearly steady from the
previous assessment.
- PLAN: Plan for dangerous wind of equivalent strong tropical
