Let’s hope we’re not too unlucky on this Friday the 13th. The Storm Prediction Center indicates that there is a marginal risk (risk level 1 of 5) of severe weather in the Attractions area today. The primary threat, while low, is tornadoes (2%-4% chance) and damaging winds (5% to 14% chance). The risk is more significant in northwestern Lake County, along with the Tampa/St. Pete area including Busch Gardens. Port Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center are just outside the primary area of risk, but still could see storms today.
